MTCC Mobilizes Project Site At Ukulhas In Alifu Alifu Atoll For The Harbor Quay Wall & Jetty Construction Project

On 24th February, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) unveiled that they have mobilized the project site at Alifu Alifu Ukulhas for the Harbor Quay Wall and Jetty Construction Project. The construction giant was contracted for the project by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.

Work under the project will compromise of dredging and excavation operations of 19,630cbm; construction of a 31m breakwater; a 136m quay wall; a 138.73m jetty and installation of 580sqm harbor pavement. The project is valued at a grand total of MVR 19.9 million.

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is the first and longest serving public company in the nation who have position themselves as the leading marine and land transport provider in addition to being the best civil and marine constructor in the country. During last year, the company successfully completed 34 projects it was contracted to. It was also the year they had financially performed the best since inception. 

On 23rd February, MTCC also mobilized the project site at Dhuvaafaru in Raa Atoll for a land reclamation and shore protection project.
