MMPRC Resurfaces To The Middle Eastern Tourist Market Via A Radio Promotion

In order to regain our destination presence as an exquisite holiday, government mandated body marketing Maldives as a holiday destination – Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) – has taken on numerous marketing campaigns focused by countries and regions. In this regard, they are pleased to announce the addition of one more campaign to its portfolio, this time targeted towards the Middle Eastern tourist market, again.

Accordingly, MMPRC has partnered up with Al Khaleejiya, one of the most popular radio channels in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and also the highest ranking Khaleeji channel in the region for carrying out a radio promotion regarding Maldives. The campaign will run for a period of two-weeks and is anticipated to reach over 480,000 persons; 379,000 from Al Khaleeji’s exclusive audience and 223,000 listeners from their weekend reach.

During the campaign, an emphasis will be on the unique experiences one can experience in the Maldives in addition to informing potential travelers about the safety measures in motion and the fact that Maldives is a proven ‘safe heaven’.

Prior to this campaign, two other ones were launched by them earlier focused on the Middle East as well in collaboration with Dnata Travel and Emirates Women respectively.

Since the border re-opening, the Middle Eastern region has become a popular tourist market for Maldives. At present, there are three airlines operating to the country from the Middle East being; Emirates Airlines, Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways.
