All About the Changes to WAMCO Services from May 5 to 15

Waste Management Corporation Limited is one of the many corporations working tirelessly in the maintenance of the health and hygiene of the Greater Male’ Region. Their team has worked continuously even since the first lockdowns were imposed and whilst restrictions have returned to the area, the corporation aims to remain at service. 

Conforming to the restrictions announced by the Health Protection Agency from May 5 to 15, 2021, following are the changes brought to service provision of WAMCO. 

  • WAMCO offices in the Greater Male’ Region will be closed and all services that can be provided online will be shifted to more convenient platforms. 
  • Letters and official documentation can be submitted via email at info@wamco.com.mv to the Corporate Head Office. 
  • For information inquiries, email to 1666@wamco.com.mv  
  • Register for services at the Customer Front Office via the corporation’s website
  • Pay WAMCO bills at the comfort of your homes via Avas Pay
  • Waste Transfer Stations in Male’, Hulhumale’ and Villimale’ will operate until 11 p.m. 
  • WAMCO Call Center 1666 will be live from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers can Viber to +960 7871666 for inquiries during offline hours.  
  • Waste collection from households will be carried out from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.
