Leading financial institute of the Maldives, Bank of Maldives has announced details regarding the banking service provision in the 10-day restriction period imposed by the Health Protection Agency. The timings were updated according to the announcement by Maldives Monetary Authority.
Starting today onwards, BML branches will remain open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. until May 15, 2021. However, essential services will; continue without interruption, says BML. These include processing International Transfers (TTs) and BML Cheques during the period. TT Requests and cheques deposited before 11 a.m. will be processed on the same day, except for on weekends and public holidays.
Taking all safety precautions to ensure the health and safety of customers as well as BML staff, the bank encourages customers to avail online token issuance on the QueueBee application. Tokens will be issued for banking services in Male’ City for services that are not available online or via self-service banking. Customers are humbly requested to check waiting positions online before visiting the branches.
Pre-booked services provided at Account Opening Centre, Loan Centre and Business Centres will be provided on an appointment basis. Appointments can be made online via the BML website.
