MIRA Urges Tax Payers to Use Their Online Service Portals During This Time of Office Closure

As directed by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, government offices are to remain closed from today onwards until May 5, 2021. This decision was announced in accordance with the restrictive measures announced by Health Protection Agency in efforts to curb the alarming rise of positive Covid cases in the Maldives in the past week.  

Maldives Inland Revenue has urged tax payers to avail their online portals and continue to pay taxes and fees due in the time period. MIRAconnect and Vaarupay can be used conveniently for registrations, payments, and more services online.  

Further, the authority also notes that toll-free hotline 1415 will be live from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays for customer inquiries. An addition option of Viber messaging service will also be available during official working hours on the number +960 9821415 for more information.
