In a ceremony held at Hulhumale’ Central Park yesterday, the ground foundation of One Central Park has been laid by partners of the project - Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Hon. Mohamed Aslam, Minister of State for National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Akram Kamaaluddin, Managing Director at Assotech Realty Pvt Ltd, Neeraj Gulati, and Managing Director, Housing Development Corporation Ltd. (HDC), Suhail Ahmed.
One Central Park is a 120-unit premium residential estate that is developed targeting the middle-income category in order to provide affordable yet high-quality living standards for their families. The spacious units will have 3 rooms, uninterrupted views of the Central Park in Hulhumale’, convenient access to wide roads, recreational facilities and a congestion free lifestyle.
The project is a joint venture by Rasheed Carpentry and Construction in partnership with Sandal Mauritius Pvt. Ltd, the branch of India’s renowned real estate developers, Assotech Realty Pvt. Ltd. The development is scheduled to be completed by February of 2023.
Even though initial marketing of the project has not been initiated, the project is virtually sold out as almost 70% of the units have been booked, according to Mr. Neeraj Gulati. Speaking in the ceremony, he extended many thanks to Minister Aslam and HDC for their support in pushing for the commencement of physical works of the project.
Following the compliment, Chief Guest, Minister Aslam expressed the governments vision of implementing a ‘mixed development’ concept in the Maldives ensuring that people from all categories of income have access to affordable and quality living standards.
Chairman of RCC, Mohamed Nazim too spoke at the ceremony about the project. He stressed on the capacities of Maldivian contractors to partner in such potential development and reassured the public that the company will go the extra mile in providing the ultimate finished product in the promised timeline. RCC has remained a game-changer in the field of construction in the Maldives and looks forward to bettering the lifestyle of good living in the country.
Housing units in One Central Park are being sold at a price starting with MVR 2.2 million. Assotech has arranged convenient facilities for buyers and allocated easy, construction linked payment options with the purchase.
Special invitees to the ceremony included members of partner corporations and government bodies, in addition to potential investors, buyers and special invitees.
