Development of a Tourist Hotel with a Yacht Marina in the island of Uligan
The Government of Maldives, represented by the Ministry of Tourism invites interested and eligible candidates, local or foreign, to submit bids to develop, operate and manage a tourist hotel with a yacht marina in a plot of 36 hectares of land situated at Uligan in Haa Alifu atoll.
A public announcement was made by the Ministry regarding the matter on 4th October 2020, which could be viewed here. The Ministry had further stated that they would be conducting an information session regarding the bid submission targeted towards interested parties on 22nd October 2020 (Thursday) at 1300 hours, which will be held at the Ministry (Velaanage, 5th Floor).
Interested parties are directed to submit an application form to purchase the Bid Document through the Ministry’s website. The Bid Document will be made available for purchase starting from 11th October 2020 from the Ministry’s reception between 9 am and 1pm on all days with exception of government holidays.
The Ministry welcomes and will be attending to all queries sent by the public for further clarification respective of matter via email. Respectively, you may can send your queries to planning@tourism.gov.mv in which all queries will be attended to subject to the query being sent before 1pm on 1st November 2020.
Uligan is one of the inhabited islands of Haa Alif Atoll, located in the north of the country.
