The Grand Opening of Maldives Wave – The First Watch Showroom Dedicated to A Purely Maldivian Collection

Maldives Wave Showroom – the first watch showroom in the Maldives that showcases a purely Maldivian luxury watch collection has opened their doors to the public on April 12, 2021. The honors were done by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid in a special Grand Opening ceremony held at the showroom this Monday night. Brand Ambassadors Shalabee Ibrahim, Nabeeha Abdul Razzaq, Nabaaha Abdul Razzaq, and Maryam Waheedha also attended the ceremony.  

Located in the prime commercial area of Chaandhanee Magu, Maldives Wave showroom will showcase the elegant collection of the biggest local watch brand available for instant purchase at the store. Maldives Wave is the first authentic designer watch brand of the Maldives and it epitomizes elements of the natural beauty of the country at the core of its design.  

In celebration of the Holy month of Ramadan, an exciting 50% OFF store-wide promotion was announced on all purchases from the store. The Maldives Wave watch collection consists of exclusive designs, each with a specific story to tell. The watches are loved immensely by locals and tourists alike, for the eye-catchy designs and comfort of carrying it on the wrist.  

The sublime Liyelaa collection is a design series inspired by the most distinctive handicraft of the Maldives known as lacquer work. The collection includes a Boduberu and Velaa series available in Presidential Blue and Royal Edition for both men and women. The ultra-luxe Ran Boli and the Rihi Boli collections are a limited edition, depicting the influential Arabic numerals in a striking gold and silver respectively.  

In addition to watches, straps will also be available for purchase at the showroom. Customers can explore the full collections and purchase a timeless piece to add to their collection from the Maldives Wave Showroom. Moreover, watch servicing and strap adjustment of watches from the brand can be done at the store.  

The store will open from 9 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. during Ramadan, closing briefly for prayer times.
