MTCC Delivers Pre-Cast Concrete Blocks To Project Site At R. Angolhitheemu For Harbor Project

Earlier today, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) gave an update on their harbor project at Angolhitheemu in Raa Atoll. As per the construction giant, the pre-cast concrete blocks that is required for the quay wall construction under the project was delivered go the project site on 12^th April. Following this, they have scheduled to commence the installation of pre-cast concrete blocks during this month.

This project is valued to MVR 44.7 million that comprises of work on dredging and excavation operations of 42,615 cbm; construction of a 221m breakwater; a 166m revetment; a 91m quay wall; installation of 1110sqm paved area, installation of streetlights and navigation lights. MTCC was contracted to this project by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
