The largest local bank operating in the country, Bank of Maldives Plc (BML) has announced their working hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal.
Accordingly, the Bank’s branches and service centers across the country will be open from 9:30am to 12pm. As usual, all self-service banking centers will be available 24 hours for cash deposit, withdrawal and transfer services. Cash agents located in inhabited islands will continue to provide basic banking services during Ramadan as well.
Whilst the Bank encourages customers to opt for banking services online using Internet Banking and Mobile App during this period, in-person banking services can be obtained as follows;
Online Token
Customers can request for tokens for the Bank’s services in Male’ City through the QueueBee application. They are advised to check the waiting position online before visiting.
Services via pre-booked appointments
Account Opening Centre, Loan Centre and Business Centres will provide services via pre-booked appointments. Appoints can be though the Bank’s website.
The cut-off times during Ramadan will be as follows;
Any requests received after the cut-off time will be processed on the next working day.
