MTCC Successfully Completes 70% Of The Construction Of Major Roads At Hanimaadhoo Project

The construction of major roads at Haa Dhaalu Hanimaadhoo was a project awarded to Maldives Transport and Construction Company (MTCC) by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 22^nd May 2019.

As per an update given by the Company on Sunday, the project is well underway with over 70% of it reaching completion. In this regard, they have commenced work on the ABC works yesterday and is scheduled to start work on laying asphalt by May.

This project is valued at MVR 46.7 million that consists of a scope of work of the construction and development of 18 roads, construction of sidewalks of 16,518sqm; a carriageway of 38,916sqm, road markings of 19,679.7sqm.
