MIRA VaaruPay Payments Can Now Be Made via DhiraaguPay

Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced via twitter that its customers can now make payments on VaaruPay through DhiraaguPay for fees and charged collected by the Authority.

VaaruPay is an online tax payment service offered by MIRA, which is easily accessible to taxpayers via their website and mobile application. Taxpayers have the option to make payment for vehicle annual fees, parking violations, traffic violations, sea vessel annual fees and fines, company annual fees and fines, Zakat al-mal, visa fee, airport security pass payments and payments incurred by the violation of rules and regulations imposed by Health Protection Agency and payments incurred by the violation of rules and regulation related to the environment. Taxpayers using VaaruPay will be able to reprint payment confirmation, if needed so.

VaaruPay was initially introduced by MIRA as an online payment service solely via their website for the purpose of making payments for traffic violation fines. Along with VaaruPay, several other fees and charges collected by MIRA can now completed digitally, a perfect solution Maldivian nationals inhabiting in geographically dispersed islands.

DhiraaguPay can shortly be described as an electronic wallet and a mobile pay system available for all Dhiraagu mobile customers, not just for payments to be made to Dhiraagu, but also to their nominated agents; which in this case includes MIRA
