Did Your Proposal Make the Cut in the First Phase of BML Community Fund for This Year?

The largest local bank operating in the country, Bank of Maldives (Plc), instigated its nationwide campaign ‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund’, as a prominent part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The campaign is aimed to empower local individuals and non-governmental organizations to contribute to their communities by way of sustainable projects.

Administered in 3 separate quarters, the Bank fund 20 successful proposals for community-based projects falling under the themes; education, environment, sports and community development. Each winning proposal would be awarded MVR 50,000 to transform their ideas into reality.

The Bank had announced the first quarter of the ‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund 2021’ back in February, whereas the 5 winners were unveiled last Thursday.
