In line with their expansion plans, Maldives Post has opened their new branch in H.A. Dhidhdhoo in a ceremony held on the island last night. The ceremony was attended by MP for the Dhidhdhoo Constituency, Abdulla Waheed, Managing Director of Maldives Post, Ahmed Shafeeq and Chairman of Maldives Post, Mohamed Abdulla.
The opening of the new branch signifies the company's efforts in enhancing the service provided across the archipelago with the latest advancements available, making the experience as seamless and efficient as possible for the customers. More than 50% of the mail received via Maldives Post’s E-Tukuri platform is addressed to islands outside the Greater Male Area.
Maldives Post currently operates modern outlets in 14 atolls across the country alongside 172 agency offices providing access to postal service in all inhabited islands.
For over 115 years, the postal service in the Maldives has witnessed a number of progressive phases in the provision of service. Apart from the traditional mail services, Maldives Post is widely engaged in the provision of non-postal services including financial services and agency services.
