MTCC Scores Additional Five Projects Pertaining To Design & Build Of Shore Protections Structures At Five Islands

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is the first and longest-serving public company in the nation who have position themselves as the leading civil and marine constructor in the country. In this capacity, the company continues to successfully undertake multiple projects simultaneously across all parts of the Maldives – even with difficulties posed by the ongoing pandemic.

They are proud to add additional five projects to this broad portfolio that was awarded to them by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure for which the contracts have been signed yesterday.

Design & Build of Shore Protection Structure at Mulah in Meemu Atoll

This project is valued at MVR 17.66 million that will involve work on the construction of a 411.90m geo bag revetment. The project must be completed in a duration of 105 days.

Design & Build of Shore Protection Structure at Rakeedhoo in Vaavu Atoll

Work on this project will involve the construction of a 200m breakwater and 40m groynes. It is valued at MVR 9.16 million and must be completed within 105 days.

Design & Build of Shore Protection Structure at Fainu in Raa Atoll

The project that is valued at MVR 8.96 million that will involve work on the construction of an 8100cbm of backfilling and bed preparation works and construction of 250m geo bag revetment which must be completed within 180 days.

Design & Build of Shore Protection Structure at Thulhaadhoo in Baa Atoll

Within a duration of 150, MTCC must complete the construction of a 11,700cbm of backfilling and bed preparation works and construction of 280m geo bag revetment. The project is worth MVR 10.13 million.

Design & Build of Shore Protection Structure at Rasmaadhoo in Raa Atoll

This project will involve work of the construction of a 336m groynes. It is valued at MVR 11.68 million and set to completed within 180 days.
