If you had the opportunity to earn while you learn, would you grab it? Dhiraagu has opened applications for its Apprenticeship Program for 2021 and this is your opportunity to participate in an educational training program designed to enhance your knowledge and skillset required to develop competencies in specific disciplines.
Initially, each apprentice program will be conducted for a one-year period. Upon completing the first year successfully, participants are offered the opportunity to complete another year of the program and further enhance the benefits from the training. If participants wish to not pursue a second year, an alternate job offer at Dhiraagu may be offered to candidates who show compelling performances during the program.
The Apprenticeship Programs are open for Maldivian nationals aged between 18 to 30 years who are currently not employed full time. Courses are available in 5 different regions in the following areas of interest.

At the end of the Apprentice Program, candidates will have an increased level of professional competency in basic skills required to perform at an entry-level job. Guided by experienced mentors and with easier access to various formal and structured training and development resources, candidates will be fit for a career establishment or further advancement upon graduation.
As the corporative landscape evolves, Dhiraagu steps up the benefits of the apprenticeship programs by tweaking fine details to cater to the surge in demand for trained professionals in the industry. Hence, this year, the organization is extending opportunities for Graduate Apprentices who are seeking to specialize in the Information Technology field.
The program is open for post-graduate students in Information Technology or any related field with strong knowledge of major operating systems to learn with seasoned mentors and become marketable professionals in the future.
All the courses of the Apprenticeship are structured to provide ample resources to build your knowledge of the chosen disciplines. These will mostly be educational experiences which may include training, workshops, courses based on core competencies required for the job. In addition, on-the-job learning opportunities are provided under the guidance of a one-on-one mentor relationship with an experienced member of Dhiraagu team.
As an apprentice, all participants are entitled to:
- A monthly apprentice allowance based on the level of education/training completed by applicants.
