World Water Day has been marked every year since 1993 on the 22nd of March, to raise awareness on the importance of fresh water and advocating for the sustainable management of the world’s freshwater supplies. This year, the theme is ‘Valuing Water’ which openly calls for converstaions to be held on what water means to you as an individual. By recording - and celebrating - all the different ways water benefits our lives, we can value water properly and safeguard it effectively for everyone.
On the occasion, the Ministry of Environment has announced a poster drawing competition for kids aged between 3 to 12 years with exciting prizes allocated for the winners. Joining in the conversation themed Valuing Water, participants can submit drawings based on how water is important to your home and family life, your livelihood, your cultural practices, your wellbeing, your local environment.

The rules are simple. Posters must be drawn on A4 canvas size, scanned, and submitted via this link. The file size should fit between 2-10 MB. The competition ends on April 5 so hurry up, and get to the drawing boards!
