Yesterday, Dhiraagu held a virtual conference with members of Care Society and shared the good news of a major contribution towards the society’s Care Development Center. On the occasion of Down Syndrome Day, this contribution was made to the Vocational Training Unit of Care Society, in support of the Vocational Training, Computer Program for the year 2021.
Speaking at the event, Director of Corporate Services at Dhiraagu, Ms. Athifa Ali mentioned gratitude towards the efforts Care Society puts into educating children with special needs on basic computer skills. “We are happy to support Care Society’s Vocational Training Unit. We hope to continue our support to programs that empower children & help them reach their full potential" she said.
Dhiraagu has been a supporter of the program since its inception in 2018 and has continued to provide assistance as needed.
The VTU program at Care society aims to educate differently abled children with basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and how to take care of their electronic gadgets in this year’s program. Previously, different sessions were held on teaching kids crafting and sewing skills. 6 children have completed the course successfully till date.
Executive Director of Care Society, Nausham Muhaimin expressed humble thanks to Dhiraagu fr their continued support to the association and its initiatives. He further looks forward to maintaining a good relationship with the company for collaborations in future endeavours.
