Fenaka Breaks Ground on New Powerhouse and Office Building in Two Islands

Fenaka is a state-owned utility company providing electricity, water, and sewerage to the island communities of the Maldives. Their aim is to become the benchmark utility service provider with the highest standard of quality and safe services to everyone.   

On a special ceremony held at Sh. Noomara yesterday, Managing Director Ahmed Saeed and President of the Noomara Council, Hassan Abdulla broke ground on the proposed new powerhouse and office building on the island by Fenaka. The project is assigned to Sky One Logistics company to be completed within a time frame of 9 months.  

Today, MD Ahmed Saeed visited R. Vaadhoo for the ground breaking ceremony of the new powerhouse and office building to be established on the island. He was joined by the MP of Alifushi constitute, Rasheed Hussain.  

The newly built buildings will feature a powerhouse, chimney, diesel tank, boundary wall, and an office building in both islands.
