For Staffs From Bank of Maldives, Happiness Is Supporting These Community Activities!

If you do not know yet, today is International Day of Happiness – an occasion celebrated across the world to highlight the importance of happiness in the diurnal lives of people. For different people, happiness is attained by doing different things. For these staff at the Bank of Maldives – it is actually supporting community activities which is exactly what they did today!

Accordingly, various activities were organized by the staff to support local communities in the islands which are detailed below.

Felidhoo in Vaavu Atoll

Staff conducted a cleanup of the access leading to a popular area amongst the local community and family called ‘Masfengadu’. Further plans have been made to construct a platform for visitors of the area.

Fonadhoo in Laamu Atoll

Staff repainted the walls around the children’s park on the island.

Kulhudhuffushi in Haa Dhaalu Atoll

The branch team built a beach area for the community with huts, benches and swings.

The staff of the Bank has played and continue to play a pivotal role in volunteerism when it comes to supporting community activities, especially during natural disasters and crisis.
