MTCC Updates The Statuses Of Their Harbor Projects At The Islands Miladhoo & Feydhoo

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is the first and longest-serving public company in the nation that have position itself as the leading civil and marine constructor in the country. In this capacity, the company undertakes multiple projects simultaneously across all parts of the Maldives.

Today, they have provided a status update on the following projects.

Design & Built of Harbor At Miladhoo In Noonu Atoll

With an overall 40% of the project having been completed, the work which is presently being done is the breakwater construction.

This project that is valued at MVR. 42.1 million consists of dredging and excavation operations of 37,222cbm; construction of a 248m breakwater; a 137m revetment; a 286m quay wall; 1,430sqm of paved area; installation of navigation lights and streetlights.

Design & Built of Harbor At Feydhoo in Shaviyani Atoll

This project is well underway as well. At present, harbor basin dredging works are ongoing.

This project that is valued at MGR 33.1 million will involve work on dredging and excavation operations of 27,500cbm; construction of a 378m breakwater; a 90m revetment; a 276m quay wall; installation of 1,380sqm paved area, installation of streetlights and navigation lights.
