Six Vacant Tourist Representative Counters At Velana International Airport Are Up For Lease

On Sunday, Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has announced that six vacant Tourist Representative Counters at Velana International Airport are presently up for lease.

Interested parties are requested to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) via a letter, fax or email prior to 2pm on 7^th March 2021 along with their contact details. They will then be registered for the bid whereas the Bid Document will be sent via email.

MACL also states parties that will be deemed eligible are those that are registered as a resort/hotel/tour operator who has the permit to be in operation. Nevertheless, those that are run a Tourist Representative Counter will not be eligible.

The deadline to submit your bids is prior to 2pm on 14^th March 2021. The Tourist Representative Counters will be given for lease for 6 bidders that will be selected by a lot on 22^nd March 2021 – in the presence of all bidders for transparency and fairness.

Velana International Airport is the main international airport in the Maldives and is the main gateway into the Maldives islands for tourists.
