Work On The Alifu Alifu Ukulhas Harbor Quay Wall & Jetty Construction Project Commenced By MTCC

The Alifu Alifu Ukulhas Harbor Quay Wall & Jetty Construction Project that is valued at MVR 19.9 million was awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. Under the project, MTCC is supposed to carry out dredging and excavation operations of 19,630cbm; construction of a 31m breakwater; a 136m quay wall; a 138.73m jetty and installation of 580sqm harbor pavement.

On 24th February, the company had mobilized the project site at Alifu Alifu Ukulhas. Yesterday, they have announced the commencement of maintenance dredging works.
