Finally Accessible To The Public Is The Recreational Zone and Interactive Zone in Hulhumale’ Central Park

Earlier today, the Housing Development Corporation Limited (HDC) announced that Recreational Zone and Interactive Zone in Hulhumale’ Central Park is now open for public use. However, they do remind everyone using the space to maintain social distancing and adhere to the guidelines set out by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) at all times.

The Recreational Zone and Interactive Zone in Hulhumale’ Central Park was constructed under a project funded by grant aid from the Government of India. These zones combined includes of a funded by grant aid from the Government of India. It was officially inaugurated at a special ceremony held on Saturday that was in attendance by the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar as a part of his official visit to the Maldives. Also in attendance was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Shahid. The inauguration of the newly renovated Hulhumale’ City Westside Jetty also took place in the same ceremony.

The Central Park area as a whole makes up significant portion of the suburban Hulhumale’ City. Housing Development Corporation Limited (HDC), extends their gratitude for the Government of India for their assistance in further development of the area and encourages the public to utilize the new facilities at its best.
