Clique College To Begin Teaching All ACCA Professional Level Papers Via Partnership With Alpha Business School
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global body for professional accountants. Numerous higher education establishments offer ACCA programs worldwide, making it one of the best educational qualifications one can invest in. ACCA courses mainly comprise of the rules of accountancy, auditing and taxation based on international standards; retaining a huge skill set in business and tax laws, corporate finance, spreadsheet analysis, money management, banking and finance and supervisory skills which can easily help you land careers in Accountancy, Management and Consultancy.
Alpha Business School is a leading institution for teaching ACCA programs in Sri Lanka. Local higher education institution and the best coordinator of ACCA programs in the Maldives, Clique College has partnered up with Alpha Business School in order to facilitate teaching ACCA programs through visiting lecturers, effectively expanding the College’s team of lecturers. In this regard, visiting lecturers will be teaching full-time for the full semester during regular class time to ensure that students are able to pass their exams.
An online signing ceremony was held to officially seal the deal on 4th February in which the agreement was signed by Dr. Naushad Mohamed on behalf of Clique College whereas Mr. Shehan Fernando signed on behalf of Alpha Business School.
As a result of the partnership, Clique College will be introducing ACCA professional level papers this semester.
Under this partnership, students from Clique College will be able to study with the most qualified and leading lecturers for Applied Knowledge level, Applied Skill Level and Professional Level papers of ACCA who have achieved global awards for students’ performance in ACCA exams. Key lecturers have been named to include of:
Mr. Shehan Fernando: He is the CEO of Alpha Business School and has produced 2 ACCA world prize winners in Performance Management and Taxation, produced pass rates above the global average, also lectures in courses offered by the University of West Scotland and the University of London. This semester, Mr. Shehan will be teaching ACCA Applied Skills level F5 Performance Management
Dr. Shaan Jayasekera: He is a multidisciplinary professional who has two decades of experience in lecturing and has produced 40 prize winners in Sri Lanka and internationally, so far. Dr. Shaan holds an MBA in Business Finance and is a CIMA passed finalist. He also lectures for the University of London as well.
Dr. Shaan is set to teach Strategic Business Leader for Professional level, this semester.
Mr. Prasenna Balachandran: He has 14 years of experience in teaching ACCA, CIMA and AAT courses. Having produced many prize winners in ACCA, CMA and AAT, his specialty lies in governance management and auditing. This semester, Mr. Prasenna will be teaching ACCA Applied Skill level F8 Audit and Assurance.
Apart from the aforementioned lecturers, visiting lecturers will also teach selected topics for F1, F2, and F3.
