Dhiraagu has launched the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Programme 2026, the long-running CSR programme of the company and the first corporate apprenticeship programme of its nature in the Maldives. The programme is aimed at assisting the youth in developing professional skills through structured training and exposure to the real work environment as well as an opportunity to earn and learn.
The on-the-job experience will be provided to the participants in the fields of Administration, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Services and Technology. Intake 2026 will be open in the Dhiraagu Head Office in Malé, and operation centres in Addu City, Kulhudhuffesh City, Laamu Atoll and Gaafu Atoll. The requirements include that, they must be Maldivian, aged 1830, A’ Levels, and not full time employees.
The in-house specialists will also train their apprentices, training them in such crucial soft skills such as time management, personal organisation, project planning and presentation skills. The applications are available till 30 November 2025 via the Dhiraagu site.
The programme, which has been running since 2009, has sponsored 288 apprentices, most of whom have established good careers in Dhiraagu and other organisations in the Maldives. This initiative will help Dhiraagu to empower the youths and have future leaders.
