Tree Top Hospital has declared the introduction of special Cataract Campaign between 7th and 13th September 2025. The project aims to assist the community eye health by providing free specialist consultations to those aged 45 years and above who might have some symptoms associated with cataracts.
Consultation will be done on a daily basis during the campaign week that is, between 2:00 PM and 5.30 pm. The hospital has ensured that it will waive all the co-pay fees associated with such consultations after Aasandha or other forms of insurance process. This will guarantee that the citizens of Maldives and the expatriates, tourists within the target age bracket can enjoy the service at no out-of-pocket cost.
On-line registration is highly recommended, and a Google Form will be used before the campaign to make the process smoother and secure priority. But nevertheless, walk-in will also be accepted on a case-by-case basis. The waiver will only be applied to the cataract consultation fees with normal charges being charged on other procedures or investigations where necessary.
In this program, Tree Top Hospital will strengthen its pledge in offering affordable healthcare services and responding to age-related vision issues, which tend to be prevalent. Treetop Hospital invites everybody 45 years and older to notice changes in vision to make use of the campaign.
