Ooredoo Nation Levels Up with Inter-Office eSports Showdown

Ooredoo Nation successfully concluded its 2025 Inter-Office eSports Championship, held from August 7 to 15. The event brought together professionals from across the Maldives, offering an exciting blend of teamwork, digital competition, and corporate camaraderie.

Participants competed in three of the world’s most popular competitive games — PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), and EAFC. The event drew strong participation from companies nationwide, reflecting the fast-growing presence of eSports in the professional world.

This year’s lineup featured 47 EAFC players from 20 companies, 9 MLBB teams with 63 players from 5 companies, and 11 PUBG Mobile teams comprising 52 players from 9 organizations.
Winners included:

• PUBG Mobile: UNITED BML SDMZ (1st), MTCC (2nd), Maldives Customs Service (3rd)
• MLBB: Maldives Airports Company Ltd (1st), Maldives Customs Service (2nd), Bank of Maldives (3rd)
• EAFC: Janaan Mohamed (Maldives Customs Service) took first place, followed by Maahil Mohamed (Prehab Pvt Ltd) and Hussain Yaeesh (Hiwin Investments)

Now in its second year, the championship offered companies a dynamic way to boost team engagement while promoting the growth of eSports across the country.
