The Maldives Police have signed MoUs with three leading companies as part of the 'Rakkaa Campaign' – a road safety initiative aimed at raising public awareness. The new partners are Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Ooredoo, and Allied Insurance.
These agreements will support awareness efforts under the Road Safety Awareness and Prevention campaign this year. The MoUs were signed by Acting Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen. MTCC’s Managing Director Ahmed Saudy, Ooredoo’s Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz, and Allied Insurance’s Executive Director Nasrath Mohamed signed on behalf of their companies.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from the three companies, Male’ Police Head Assistant Commissioner of Police Asim Abdulla, and Chief Superintendent of Police Hussain Sameer, who heads Road, Traffic, and Road Management units.
