Dhiraagu Plc has reported a net profit of USD 15.1 million for the first quarter of 2025, marking a 6.18% rise compared to USD 14.1 million in the same period last year.
According to the company’s quarterly report, total revenue for Q1 stood at USD 45.3 million—a slight dip of 0.14% from the previous year. The company’s key earnings came from its mobile and fixed broadband services.
While mobile service revenue dropped slightly to USD 24.1 million from USD 24.4 million in Q1 2024, fixed broadband saw growth. Dhiraagu earned USD 19.8 million from its broadband services this quarter, up 1.3% from USD 19.5 million last year.
The steady rise in broadband usage appears to have played a key role in driving the company’s overall profitability, even as mobile revenue declined slightly.
