Dhiraagu and Skate Maldives Strengthen Partnership to Develop Local Talent

Skate Maldives has marked a significant milestone by achieving full Affiliate Member status with World Skate in 2024, just one year after being recognized as a Provisional Affiliate Member. This achievement makes Skate Maldives the official governing body for all skating-related sports in the country.

The development of skating in the Maldives has been supported through a strong partnership with Dhiraagu. Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu, expressed excitement about continuing the collaboration: “We are delighted to support the development of young skaters in the country. This partnership reflects our commitment to youth development, promoting active sports, and helping local talent shine on both national and international stages.”

Skate Maldives President, Mohamed Hanim, also praised the collaboration, noting that Dhiraagu’s role as a development partner has been instrumental in the organization’s growth.
