Maldivian Airlines Announces New Direct Flights to Bangalore

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, is expanding its reach with a new direct flight route between Hanimaadhoo International Airport and Bangalore, India. The service will begin on May 15, 2025, with two weekly flights on Sundays and Thursdays, offering greater convenience for both leisure and business travelers.

This new route adds to Maldivian’s existing services between Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum, reinforcing the airline's commitment to enhancing connectivity in the northern Maldives. The launch aims to strengthen the cultural and economic ties between the Maldives and India.

Tickets for the new Hanimaadhoo-Bangalore route will be available from March 16, 2025, through Maldivian’s website, mobile app, and ticketing offices. The airline continues to expand its network, complementing its services to destinations across India, China, and beyond.
