Dhiraagu will host its much-awaited GudiFest on Friday, 14th March 2025, at Dhiraagu Beach, Hulhumale’ Phase 2, from 5:00 to 6:00pm. The event invites children of all ages to come and receive a free kite to enjoy the traditional Ramadan practice of kite flying.
Launched in 2023, GudiFest aims to encourage more children to take part in this cultural activity during Ramadan evenings. This year, the event will be held across the Maldives, with the first GudiFest taking place at Male’ Usfasgandu last Saturday, where it was met with positive feedback from the public.
As a company committed to connecting with communities during Ramadan, Dhiraagu continues to celebrate local heritage through engaging activities and promotions. Their dedication to preserving Dhivehi traditions is reflected in the growing success of events like GudiFest, which honors cultural customs while bringing families together.
