Tree Top Hospital recently wrapped up a health screening initiative for students at S’alah’udheen School and Kaamil Didi School in Hulhumalé. Running from February 3rd to 17th, the screenings were aimed at students in grades 1, 4, and 7.
In partnership with the Ministry of Education and the schools, the initiative provided essential health assessments for over 640 students. Medical officers from the Department of Family Medicine, along with nursing staff, conducted these screenings to identify potential health issues early on.
The focus was on age-appropriate health checks, designed to promote awareness among students, parents, and the community about the importance of health and early detection. By identifying potential health issues early, the program aimed to ensure that students receive the necessary care and support.
Tree Top Hospital has emphasized the significance of routine health assessments in managing and preventing health issues. This initiative also highlights the hospital’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community wellbeing through such health programs.
The hospital expressed gratitude to S’alah’udheen School, Kaamil Didi School, and the Ministry of Education for their cooperation and support in making this initiative a success. Tree Top Hospital remains dedicated to conducting similar programs to promote health across the community.
