Maldives Pension Office Offers Scholarship for Financial Sector Education

The Pension Office has introduced a scholarship program to foster talent and build skilled professionals in the Maldives’ financial sector. This fully funded, merit-based initiative is designed to help students pursue higher education in fields crucial for the sector’s growth.

One undergraduate scholarship has been announced for programs in Financial Reporting and Analytics, Econometrics, or Actuarial Science. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition at world-renowned universities, with the aim of developing a pool of competent professionals for the industry.

Interested students must submit their completed application by 16:00 hrs on March 16, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews between April 8–17, 2025.
This annual program is a step toward equipping the Maldives with well-trained professionals, contributing to the long-term development of its financial sector.
