Maldivian Enhances Domestic Flight Schedule for December School Holidays

Maldivian, the national airline, is increasing its domestic flight services in response to the anticipated rise in travel demand during the upcoming school holiday period. Between December 16 and 20, the airline will operate additional flights to 10 regions across the Maldives to ensure smooth travel for holidaymakers heading to the outer islands.

The airline is no stranger to adjusting its flight schedules during peak travel times. Similar to its approach during the Eid holidays, Maldivian has planned a series of extra flights to accommodate the influx of passengers.

On December 16, additional flights will be available to Gan International Airport, Fuvahmulah Airport, and Hoarafushi Airport. The next day, flights to Fuvahmulah, Kulhudhuffushi, Kadhdhoo, and Funadhoo Airports will be increased. December 18 will see more flights to Hoarafushi, Gan, Kadhdhoo, and Faresmaathoda Airports, followed by additional flights on December 19 to Fuvahmulah, Gan, Dharavandhoo, and Hanimaadhoo Airports.

Finally, on December 20, extra flights will be scheduled for Funadhoo and Maavarulu Airports. Maldivian has also stated that more flights will be added if demand continues to rise, ensuring that all passengers can travel efficiently during this busy holiday season.
