Dhiraagu has extended its support to the Special Education Needs (SEN) unit, Sunshine Class, at HDh. Atoll Education Centre in Kulhudhuffushi City, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. A special event marked the official contribution, which included automatic and locking chairs for students with mobility challenges, as well as materials for the classroom’s sensory and activity areas.
Speaking at the event, Mohamed Ali, Assistant Manager Operations of Dhiraagu Kulhudhuffushi Operations Centre, emphasized the company’s commitment to inclusivity. “We are happy to support the Sunshine Class and its incredible students,” he said, adding that the new resources would assist educators and caregivers in fostering opportunities for growth and learning.
The Principal of HDh. Atoll Education Centre, Mohamed Matheen, expressed his gratitude for Dhiraagu’s contribution, highlighting the significant impact on children with disabilities. He noted that the initiative would greatly aid the school’s goal of advancing inclusive education.
