Ambassador Wang Lixin Bids Farewell After Three Years in the Maldives

Chinese Ambassador Wang Lixin has concluded her term in the Maldives, marking the end of three years in office. During her farewell calls to the President and Vice President, Ambassador Wang reflected on the strong ties between China and the Maldives.

She highlighted major projects completed during her tenure, including the development of Velana International Airport, the SinaMale' bridge, Male’ area road projects, and the planned 100-bed hospital in ViliMale’.

Ambassador Wang also noted the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2022, celebrating decades of mutual respect and cooperation. She expressed gratitude for the support she received during her time in the Maldives and praised the enduring friendship between the nations.

Her farewell message emphasized the success of bilateral projects and the ongoing partnership between China and the Maldives.
