New Empowerment Hub to Support People with Disabilities

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has announced plans to establish the Empowerment Hub, designed to create income-generating opportunities for people with disabilities. This center will provide a space where individuals can acquire new skills, sell their products, and find employment.

The Empowerment Hub will focus on training and support, enabling participants to develop skills necessary for starting their own businesses and achieving sustainable income. It will also serve as a platform for showcasing talents through product sales, ensuring a fully accessible and inclusive environment.

Additionally, the hub will connect businesses with potential employees from the disabled community, promoting social responsibility while enhancing productivity. The ministry is currently finalizing the operational model and location for this important initiative, aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities to thrive in their communities.
