Ooredoo’s new subsidiary set to enhance digital financial services.

TechFin Maldives Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Ooredoo Maldives, has proudly announced its receipt of the Payment Service Provider (PSP) license from the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA). This important development allows TechFin Maldives to operate legally in providing payment services, broadening its capacity to offer innovative and secure digital financial solutions for Maldivians.

With this license, Ooredoo's popular digital wallet, m-Faisaa, along with its remittance services, will now be managed by TechFin Maldives. This strategic shift aims to strengthen Ooredoo’s digital financial offerings and streamline the delivery of fintech solutions.

The m-Faisaa platform has transformed how financial transactions are conducted nationwide, enabling customers to make payments and transfer funds with ease. By moving these services under TechFin Maldives, Ooredoo is reinforcing its dedication to building a robust digital financial ecosystem that meets the evolving needs of its users.
