Japan has announced 40 scholarship opportunities for Maldivian students pursuing higher studies in agriculture. The Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development revealed these openings for Master's and PhD programs under the JICA Agriculture Studies Network for Food Security 2025. This initiative aims to cultivate a skilled workforce in the agricultural sector.
To apply for the Master’s program, candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old by April 1, 2025. For the PhD program, applicants need a Master's degree in a related field and must not exceed 40 years of age by the same date.
