Island Aviation Services Limited Welcomes Aboard New Managing Director, Mr. Mohamed Mihad!

Operator of the national airline of Maldives, Island Aviation Services Limited, has announced the appointment of a new Managing Director to the company, Mr. Mohamed Mihad. The news comes following the recent appointment of the company’s former Managing Director, Mr. Mohamed Rizvi as the Managing Director of recently established Regional Airports Company by the President’s Office.

Mr. Mihad had served Island Aviation Services Limited on various capacities before including being a board member for a period time. He is well experienced in the tourism sector, having previously been a board member of Maldives Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in addition to carrying out his own work in the industry which he is presently engaged in as well. He is currently filling the position of a member of the board at Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).

Apart from this, Mr. Mihad, is also well versed in the field of finance, having worked at directorial positions at several state organizations, including Ministry of Finance.

Island Aviation Services Limited was established in the year 2000, and is wholly owned by the Government of Maldives. The company is committed to providing the highest possible levels of service to its principal airlines and passengers by use of automation, modernization and with a trained and motivated team of staff.
