Husbulhi Claims Victory at Ooredoo Masrace 2024

Team 'Husbulhi' emerged as the champions of the Ooredoo Masrace 2024 in Lh. Naifaru, securing a prize of MVR 25,000. The event, part of Ooredoo Maldives' 19th-anniversary celebrations, was held across three locations: K. Himmafushi, Lh. Naifaru, and GDh. Thinadhoo.

In a day of intense competition, 'Husbulhi' achieved a top score of 921.4 points. Team Chill Broz followed with 698.45 points, and team Korakali rounded out the top three with 438.3 points. Special awards highlighted individual achievements as well. Mohamed Nasheed from team Alifas won 'Heaviest Catch' with a giant Trevally weighing 9.4 kilograms. Ali Abdulla of Chill Broz was honored as 'Best Fisherman' for 24 successful catches, while Jawada Ahmed from Korakali was named 'Best Fisherwoman' for her 15 catches.

Earlier in August, the first segment of the Ooredoo Masrace took place in K. Himmafushi, where team SIFCO claimed the championship title.
