Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has introduced a new in-house operational training program for its Fuel Services personnel at Velana International Airport. Previously dependent on external consultants, MACL’s Fuel Services team now benefits from a program developed to leverage the expertise of experienced senior staff.
The new training initiative includes a comprehensive Training Manual and is conducted by trainers from the Fuel Services management team. Both the manual and the trainers have been reviewed and approved by Learning & Development to meet MACL’s high standards. The initial training sessions have focused on Quality Control and Into-Plane Operations, with additional materials for Depot Operations and Maintenance currently being developed.
MACL’s CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, alongside Deputy Managing Directors Mohamed Lamaan and Mujthaba Latheef, recently visited the New Fuel Farm to observe the training sessions and demonstrate their support.
This move reflects MACL’s commitment to enhancing internal capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
