The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has broadened its range of services by launching a new housekeeping service, known as HOBA. This service is designed for government institutions, state-owned companies, agencies, private offices, and buildings, adding a new dimension to WAMCO’s operations.
Currently, WAMCO’s housekeeping service is being provided to four locations: the Attorney General's Office, the Hajj Corporation, Maldives Ports Limited, and H. Muraidhooge. The corporation has expressed that the primary goal of introducing this service is to increase its profitability.
WAMCO is already in talks with seven additional locations to expand the housekeeping service further. The corporation highlighted that customers have found the service fees to be low compared to traditional waste disposal charges, making it an attractive option for a wider range of clients.
The HOBA service is staffed by trained professionals, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. WAMCO has also noted that the frequency of service and pricing will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
With this new offering, WAMCO aims to diversify its portfolio, creating new revenue streams while continuing to provide essential services to its clients. This move marks a significant step in WAMCO's ongoing efforts to enhance its service offerings and operational profitability.
