The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fliggy, China's leading online travel platform under Alibaba. The agreement aims to strengthen and amplify the Maldives' presence in the Chinese market. The MOU was signed by MMPRC's Managing Director, Ibrahim Shiuree, and Fliggy's Vice President, Tong Teng, at a ceremony held at Villa Nautica.
MMPRC believes that this partnership with Fliggy will help promote the Maldives as a premier destination for Chinese tourists. Shiuree emphasized that the collaboration will lead to another successful year for the Maldives' tourism industry.
