Thailand-Maldives Business Forum Kicks Off with High Engagement

The "Thailand-Maldives Business Matching" forum commenced today in the Maldives, featuring a robust turnout of Thai exporters and Maldivian businesses. Within the first two hours, over 100 Maldivian companies visited the forum, which includes participation from 25 Thai companies. The event, aimed at fostering business opportunities, will conclude at 4 PM today.

The forum serves as a platform to strengthen connections between Thai and Maldivian businesses and identify potential business opportunities. Thai exporters from various sectors, including food and beverage, fruits and vegetables, furniture, cosmetics, and clothing, are showcasing their products. Leading exporters from Thailand are also part of this significant event.

Organized by the Thailand Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the forum aims to expand Thailand's international market presence. DITP highlighted that Maldivian entrepreneurs attending the forum would gain valuable insights into new business ideas, current Thai food trends, and the best products available across different industries.

The forum has received an enthusiastic response, with more Maldivian businesses participating than anticipated. This event is seen as a significant opportunity to expand business ventures in both countries.
