Ooredoo Nation proudly announces the successful completion of its inaugural Inter-Office eSports Championship, featuring exciting competitions in PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and EAFC. Held from August 13th to 18th, 2024, the event brought together 33 teams from various corporate entities, showcasing their gaming skills, teamwork, and camaraderie.
The tournament served as a unique platform to foster team spirit and friendly competition, further strengthening the bond within the eSports community. The winning teams were awarded exciting prizes, and their achievements were celebrated during a special closing ceremony that highlighted the importance of such initiatives in creating a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
In the PUBG Mobile competition, Ahmed Ikram from EM Enterprises was named MVP, winning MVR 1000. Customs secured third place with a prize of MVR 3000, while EM Enterprises took the runner-up position with MVR 6000. The Bank of Maldives emerged as the champion team, winning MVR 10,000.
For Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Aiman Rasheed from Maldives National Air Traffic Services was awarded MVP, earning MVR 1000. MACL Team 2 secured third place with MVR 1500, and the Bank of Maldives was the runner-up with MVR 3000. The champion team, Maldives National Air Traffic Services, won MVR 4500.
In the EAFC category, Jailam Mohamed from MIRA took third place, winning MVR 3000. Ismail Nashau from BML was the runner-up, earning MVR 6000, and Janaan Mohamed from K&F Holdings emerged as the champion, winning MVR 10,000.
