Maldives and UAE Strengthen Cyber Security Partnership

The Maldives and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently held high-level discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in cyber security and data protection. The discussions took place between President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives and Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, the Head of Cyber Security for the UAE.

During a courtesy call at the President’s Office, President Muizzu welcomed Dr. Al Kuwaiti and expressed his appreciation for the UAE's long-standing support and assistance to the Maldives. President Muizzu highlighted the brotherly relations between the two nations, emphasizing the significant contributions from the UAE that have bolstered various sectors in the Maldives over the years.

President Muizzu extended his gratitude to UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his visionary leadership in fostering strategic partnerships between the two countries. He also noted the ongoing projects in the Maldives, supported by the UAE, aimed at enhancing law enforcement capacities.
