SIFCO wins the Championship of Ooredoo Masrace – K. Himmafushi and takes home and MVR 25,000!

SIFCO has emerged victorious at the Ooredoo Masrace 2024 in K. Himmafushi, the first segment of Ooredoo Maldives' annual fishing tournament. The team scored 999.35 points, securing the championship and a prize of MVR 25,000. The event, part of Ooredoo Maldives' 19th Anniversary celebration, will also take place in Lh. Naifaru and GDh. Thinadhoo. Goalhians Sports Club and Detune Fishing took second and third place, respectively.
Special awards were given for the heaviest catch, best fisherman, and best fisherwoman.
2nd Place: Goalhians Sports Club with 807.85 Points
3rd Place: Detune Fishing with 608.1 Points
Heaviest Catch: Hussain Naeem (Masterclass) Faana of 37.7 kg
Best Fisherman:  Hassan Azzam, Goalhians Sports Club with 25 Fish
Best Fisherwoman: Fathmath Fezleen, Detune Fishing with 17 Fish
